Vote Description

This bill requires that, annually, the Governor designate November 7 as Victims of Communism Day in order to honor the millions of lives lost in the name of Communism. CPAC opposes Communism, believes that people should be taught about its atrocities, and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on February 6, 2023 by a vote of 64-36 but the bill stalled in the Senate.
