Vote Description
This bill adds entertainment arenas to the definition of “public facilities.” It then allows municipalities to issue bonds in order to finance the construction of public facilities. CPAC does not believe that taxpayer resources should be placed on the hook such that places of entertainment may be constructed and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on February 24, 2023 by a vote of 66-29 and the bill later became law.
