This bill establishes the Television and Film Production Development Grant Fund, the likes of which will be used to finance businesses involved in the film industry. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to pay the costs of the film industry and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on February 8, 2024, by a vote of 55-43, but the bill never became law.
