Propping Up the Solar Industry.

2023 - Virginia Senate

Vote Description

This bill expands the Low to Moderate Income Solar Loan and Rebate Fund such that it now may provide grants to customers who complete certain solar installations. CPAC opposes the expansion of programs that already execute government favoritism toward certain industries and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 3, 2023 by a vote of 26-13 but the bill stalled in the House.
