This bill approves an amendment to Brattleboro’s charter to allow youths aged 16-17 to vote in local elections. CPAC opposes measures that allow minors to vote in elections and opposed this bill. The House overrode the Governor’s veto of this bill on June 20, 2023 by a vote of 110-37 and the bill later became law.
