This bill declares that people have the right to decide to have an abortion in the state of Vermont. In doing so, it makes it illegal to obstruct the entrance to an abortion facility. CPAC believes abortion is always a human tragedy, opposes its protection, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on February 10, 2023 by a vote of 130-13 and the bill later became law.
