This bill adds all legally codified protected classes to Washington's equal pay laws. CPAC opposes the expansion of equal pay laws, believes that the government should not specially protect certain favored groups, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on February 8, 2024 by a vote of 63-34 and the bill later became law.
