This bill prohibits local governments from restricting the use of particular devices based on the type of power source that they use. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and supported this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on April 18, 2023 by a vote of 62-35 but Governor Evers vetoed the bill.
