Vote Description
This bill eliminates a requirement that employers obtain work permits in order to hire 14- and 15-year olds. CPAC supports efforts to improve opportunities for youth to work and supported this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on February 13, 2024 by a vote of 62-34 but Governor Evers vetoed the bill.
