This bill limits the number of people that may apply for and receive absentee ballots. For example, it states that the existence of a pandemic does not qualify a voter as “indefinitely confined.” CPAC supports efforts to crack down on election fraud and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on November 14, 2023 by a vote of 22-11 but Governor Evers vetoed the bill.
