This bill requires the Bureau of Medical Services to submit a report concerning Medicaid plan changes that will grow expenditures by $3,000,000 or more the legislature for review. CPAC supports efforts to better oversee the government’s various welfare programs and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on February 28, 2024 by a vote of 83-11 but the bill never became law.
