This bill establishes the West Virginia Advanced Energy and Economic Corridor Authority, the likes of which will “facilitate assistance” to various economic development agencies. CPAC opposes government intervention in these development efforts and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 14, 2024 by a vote of 34-0 and the bill later became law.
