HB 1 (Amd. 3034)
Forcing Taxpayers to Fund Bad Human Capital Investments.
2023 - Wyoming House of Representatives
Vote Description

The Nicholas (CPAC Lifetime Rating 42%) amendment to Wyoming’s budget bill apportions $2,500,000 to Wyoming’s Tomorrow Scholarship program. This scholarship program gives funds to individuals over the age of 24 to help them pay for their higher education. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to help pay for other people’s tuition and supported this amendment. The House passed this amendment on February 3, 2023 by a vote of 37-24.
