This bill prohibits schools from teaching lessons on gender identity and sexual orientation to kids in grades K-3. The bill also arrogates to parents the right to review their child’s education records and know about their child’s emotional state. CPAC supports parental rights in education. The House failed to suspend the rules and introduce this bill on February 21, 2023 by a vote of 27-34.
