This bill states that no person except the county clerk or secretary of state may distribute absentee ballot applications unless a person is asked to retrieve such a form for a potential elector. CPAC supports efforts to reduce vote fraud and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 28, 2023 by a vote of 20-10 and the bill later became law.
