This bill prohibits the government from entering into contracts with companies that discriminate against businesses based on their ESG score. CPAC supports efforts to reduce the influence of ESG in governmental decision-making processes and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 7, 2023 by a vote of 25-6 but the bill stalled in the House.
