Vote Description

This bill requires groups influencing statewide initiatives and referenda to disclose funding from prohibited sources and bans foreign nationals from controlling such efforts, with penalties and a private cause of action. It protects Wyoming’s direct democracy from foreign interference and hidden foreign cash. CPAC supports election integrity and keeping foreign influence out of state ballot campaigns and supported this bill. HB 337 was passed by the Wyoming Senate in a 31-0 vote on March 3, 2025, and Governor Mark Gordon signed it into law.
