CPAC is proud to announce that Brendan Carr is a confirmed speaker for CPAC USA 2026 in Grapevine, Texas, March 25-28.
Brendan Carr is currently serving as the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), a position he has held since January 2025. A longtime veteran of the agency, Carr has been a Commissioner of the FCC since 2017 and previously served as the FCC’s General Counsel and as an advisor to former Chairman Ajit Pai. In his current leadership role, he is a central figure in the "America First" regulatory agenda, focusing on dismantling what he terms the "censorship cartel," reining in Big Tech companies, and enforcing public-interest obligations on broadcast media. Before his government service, Carr was a partner at the law firm Wiley Rein LLP, specializing in appellate and telecom practice, and clerked for Judge Dennis Shedd on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
