CPAC Internships Bridge Gap to Professional Career

Internships are the crucial link between what you study and how you succeed in the transition from academic to professional workspaces. Following the completion of my undergraduate studies, working with CPAC enabled me to enhance my organizational skills, develop stronger logistical management abilities, and apply academic frameworks to real-time current events. During my time with CPAC, I established a strong foundation in critical political analysis, wrote detailed and engaging blog posts related to the America UnCanceled podcast and various op-eds, learned to summarize and evaluate congressional hearings, and further developed my organizational and logistical skills. More than anything, CPAC demonstrated the value of collaboration-driven results. The office operates like a well-oiled machine, where a genuine commitment to mutual success drives efficiency and collaboration. 

I was fortunate to attend CPAC's 3rd Annual International Summit Against Human Trafficking on Capitol Hill, which allowed me to engage more appreciatively and intentionally with CPAC's critical work in the field. I also had the opportunity to expand my professional network and engage with government officials and inspirational voices alike.  

CPAC's encouraging, supportive environment helped me build confidence in both my professional and personal abilities through mentorship and support from higher-level staff. I hold a sincere appreciation for the opportunities CPAC offered me, offering guidance and hands-on experience while allowing me to engage in impactful work.
