CPAC Releases 2025 Louisiana State Ratings

The latest edition of the Louisiana CPAC Scorecard assesses 27 votes in the State Senate and 28 votes in the State House from the 2025 session. Louisiana Republicans earned an average score of 82%, a 1% increase from 2024. Democrats earned an average score of 39%.

HB307 requires that non-citizens requesting public services be reported to ICE, ensuring coordination with federal enforcement rather than local evasion. SB15 prohibits any act interfering with immigration enforcement, strengthening deterrence against obstruction and closing loopholes exploited by activist networks. SB100 requires agencies to track illegal immigrants accessing state services, helping ensure that taxpayer-funded programs remain limited to legal residents. HB554 provides clear notice to non-citizens that unlawful voting is a felony, reinforcing electoral integrity. Collectively, these bills promote accountability, discourage improper use of public resources, and protect the rule of law.
