CPAC is partnering with México Republicano to host the Combating Narco-Terrorism Summit on Capitol Hill.
The summit will address how criminal regimes threaten sovereignty, security, and the United States of America, a salient topic in light of President Donald Trump’s capture of Nicolas Maduro and assertive efforts to protect the United States from narco-terrorist states in South and Central America.
Speakers and panels are slated to break down this topic further, hitting on the issues of the rise of cartels, faith as the last line of resistance, U.S. border policy, and how these states can restore law and order.
South and Central American narco-terrorist states are responsible for flooding the U.S. with lethal drugs, particularly synthetic opioids. In 2024, opioids accounted for 60% of all overdose deaths in the U.S., killing 48,000 Americans.
Toppling these corrupt regimes is in the interest of the U.S. to save American lives and preserve national security while giving our neighbors a chance at freedom. America First is Hemisphere First.
CPAC’s Combating Narco-Terrorism Summit will unite partners throughout the Western Hemisphere to bring security, peace, and freedom to the Americas.
The summit will take place Thursday, February 5 9:30am-2:00pm EST in the Cannon Caucus Room. Learn more at CPAC.org/narco.
