America Matters Host Leo Zacky, found on the Salem and Answer Network, Vice President of Zacky Farms, his family's poultry company, and a board member of the California Poultry Federation, spoke at CPAC 2025 in Washington, DC. Zacky highlights how California went from a conservative stronghold to being run by a “political cartel” that seeks to destroy the middle class and small businesses to the benefit of a corrupt political system.
Zacky outlined his family's more than 90-year-old business being forced to relocate outside of California, not because of the government’s “mismanagement” or “incompetence”, as he puts it, but because of a deliberate strategy by a “political cartel” to destroy the middle class and small businesses. California, where President Ronald Reagan was governor and once a conservative stronghold, has been co-opted by a “political cartel”. A corrupt political system that only benefits this “political cartel” and their cronies at the detriment of the middle class and small businesses.
Zacky also highlights how California used to be a “red state” and has the highest population of conservatives out of any other state, more than Texas or Florida, posing the question: “So how do the radicals stay in power?”
“They built a one-party dictatorship, and they call it a super majority, and they did this by running democrats and calling them republicans. These RINOs stole the vote from the people by making IDs for voting illegal, by inflating the census, gerrymandering, ballot harvesting, and by removing all of the government oversight that was put in place to ensure election integrity ”, Zacky answers.
Organized voter fraud, argues Zacky, led to a Democratic majority in a once conservative stronghold. “I’m no detective, but even a dummy can smell voter fraud when the state with the most conservatives somehow magically votes blue every year.”, Zacky asserts.
The recent reelection of President Donald J Trump, according to Zacky, gives conservatives a few more years to ensure “California can turn red again”. California has the worst anti-American legislation and policies, Zacky warns, and that this can and will happen in other states too if conservative values are not defended. The Trump Administration and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are monitoring and fighting the corruption in Washington, ensuring full government transparency. The “criminal” mismanagement of California, for example, led to the deadly wildfires and “has woken up a lot of ‘lefties’…losing everything tends to change your mindset”, says Zacky.
Zacky calls the audience to action “because the time to strike is now”, highlighting the need for grassroots political action across the nation, not just California, because there is an ever-present need for individuals who reflect “America First” conservative values.
