Chairman of Unplugged Technologies Erik Prince is set to speak at CPAC's Ending Christian Persecution Summit tomorrow, October 30 at The Kennedy Center.
Prince is a former Navy SEAL and founder of military contractor Blackwater. In January, Prince notably stepped up to lend aid to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. While Congo experienced heightened turmoil with rebel gangs rising up to claim the capital city and the country’s valuable mineral mines, he brokered an agreement to secure Congo’s mineral wealth and potentially bring peace and stability to the country.
Prince has been active in encouraging economic opportunity and national security in Africa and Latin America. He will join many other speakers at the summit with a diverse background on Christian persecution around the world, making for a well-rounded discussion on how to address religious persecution in its various forms and locations.
Register for the summit today at CPAC.org/summit/christians.
