Flávio Bolsonaro is a Brazilian politician and lawyer currently serving as the Federal Senator for Rio de Janeiro, a position he has held since 2019. In December 2025, he was officially designated as the presumptive presidential candidate for the Liberal Party (PL) for the 2026 Brazilian general election, receiving the formal endorsement of his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro. A central figure in the international conservative movement, he is a frequent keynote speaker at CPAC Brazil and has been instrumental in aligning the Brazilian "Patriot" movement with "America First" allies in the United States. His legislative experience includes four terms as a State Deputy of Rio de Janeiro (2003–2019), where he specialized in public security and "law and order" policies.
