Hon. John G. Vonglis to Join CPAC USA 2026

CPAC is proud to announce that Honorable John G. Vonglis is a confirmed speaker for CPAC USA 2026 in Grapevine, Texas, March 25-28.
John Vonglis is co-founder of The Hudson Group, LLC, a boutique advisory firm specializing in governance, operational, and financial matters. Clients include public and private sector companies within energy, aerospace/defense, high-technology, biosciences, and alternative investments.
From 2017 – 2019, Vonglis served as the Senate-confirmed Chief Financial Officer of the Department of Energy. He also served as Chief Risk Officer. Concurrently, Vonglis was appointed by the President as acting Director of ARPA-E.
From 2002 – 2009, Vonglis served at the Department of Defense, culminating as acting Assistant Air Force Secretary (CFO), where he also performed the duties of the Under Secretary. In 2000, he was a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives. Vonglis has served across three Presidential Administrations and is a retired Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, with 34 years of experience in special operations.
Vonglis has lectured at the U.S. Military Academy and advised the Army Cyber Institute. Vonglis received BS and MBA degrees from Fordham University, is a graduate of the Army War College, and holds a Master's in International Public Policy from The Johns Hopkins University (SAIS).
