CPAC for Iranians in Exile and UANI stand with the brave truck drivers in Iran as they heroically strike against the regime’s violation of their rights. Blue collar workers have been consistent victims of the Ayatollah’s corrupt dictatorship.
A nationwide truck drivers' strike has spread to 155 cities in Iran in protest against low wages and a looming hike in fuel prices. The Islamist regime has begun suppressing these blue collar workers, with scores being detained.
These strikes take place as all the structural factors that led to the 2022-3 nationwide anti-regime protests — from Iran’s ailing economy to human rights abuses — have only gotten worse in the past 24 months.
The regime has not only failed to pay their salaries months on end, but has also denied them their rights and suppressed them on the streets.
It’s time for the Iranian people to directly speak with senior U.S. administration officials -united against the Ayatollah. This is exactly what CPAC for Iranians in Exile seeks to facilitate.
CPAC for Iranians in Exile will provide the diverse Iranian diaspora with a unique platform to engage with senior Trump administration officials and U.S. policymakers and advocate for a free and democratic Iran.
