Mateusz Morawiecki to Join CPAC USA 2026

Mateusz Morawiecki currently serves as the Chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) Party, having been elected to the position in January 2025. His professional experience is highlighted by his tenure as the Prime Minister of Poland from 2017 to 2023, during which he led the Law and Justice (PiS) government through a period of significant economic growth and the regional response to the conflict in Ukraine. Before ascending to the premiership, he held dual roles as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development and Finance, where he authored the "Morawiecki Plan" aimed at boosting domestic investment and expanding programs like "Family 500+." Prior to his entry into high-level politics, he had an extensive 17-year career in the banking sector, serving as the CEO of Bank Zachodni WBK (part of the Santander Group) from 2007 to 2015.
