In a recent episode of America UnCanceled, host Mercedes Schlapp sat down with Darcy Donavan, called the “Crypto Queen,” to discuss the potential of digital currency to revolutionize the global economy. Donavan, a filmmaker, actress, and co-founder of a Metaverse platform, as well as the founder of Stardawgs, has emerged as a prominent figure in the cryptocurrency market, leveraging her diverse background to navigate this rapidly evolving industry.

Originally from Miami and now based in Nashville, Donavan has balanced careers in filmmaking and country music while cultivating an early passion for performing. From a young age, she entertained family and friends with shows, later moving to Los Angeles, where she appeared in films like Anchorman. Her latest venture into cryptocurrencies has solidified her reputation as a multifaceted entrepreneur with many titles.

When Schlapp asked how Donavan entered the cryptocurrency world, she explained her journey began with Web3.0, a decentralized digital asset platform aimed at reducing reliance on unstable or restrictive governments. “Instead of going through bank servers or thousands of computers around the world, everything is through the blockchain,” Donavan said. “It’s a lot safer than traditional banking because bank servers can get hacked.” She emphasized that blockchain technology, underpinning cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, offers greater security and autonomy compared to conventional banking, despite occasional vulnerabilities.

Donavan views cryptocurrencies as a natural evolution of internet technology. “It’s been an evolution, this is where we are heading,” she said. She and Schlapp encouraged viewers to educate themselves on these emerging technologies to stay ahead in a fast-changing landscape.

As co-founder of a Metaverse platform, Donavan is competing with industry billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg. Her platform connects employees, families, and academic institutions worldwide, with the potential to further revolutionize classrooms and workplaces. “The possibilities are going to be endless,” Donavan said, highlighting her company’s collaborations with universities and businesses to integrate these technologies.

The discussion also touched on the Trump Administration's support for cryptocurrencies. Donavan noted that President Trump has embraced the industry, forging alliances with innovators like herself and Zuckerberg. “He wants to make the US a major component,” she said. This aligns with recent remarks by Vice President JD Vance, who, at a Bitcoin conference last month, declared, “Crypto finally has a champion and ally in the White House.” Vance criticized Democrat regulators for stifling the industry, adding, “There’s a new sheriff in town. Will we lead our nation into a future of financial sovereignty, innovation, and prosperity, or will we let unelected bureaucrats and foreign competitors write the rules?”

Schlapp highlighted the relevance of technologies like Web3.0 for global organizations like CPAC, which recently hosted successful events in Poland and Hungary. These platforms enable secure, global communication free from foreign government oversight, supporting CPAC’s mission to influence international elections and foster connectivity among conservative influencers.
