Mersedeh Shahinkar to Join CPAC USA 2026

CPAC is proud to announce that Mersedeh Shahinkar is a confirmed speaker for CPAC USA 2026 in Grapevine, Texas, March 25-28.


Mersedeh Shahinkar is an Iranian political activist and human rights advocate who currently serves as a leading international representative for the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement. Her professional experience is rooted in her background as a banking management professional and a certified fitness instructor in Tehran, roles she maintained until her life was upended during the 2022 civil unrest in Iran. After sustaining a severe eye injury during a peaceful demonstration, she gained international recognition for her resilience, continuing her activism while wearing an eye patch that became a global symbol of defiance against the Iranian regime. Her advocacy has been recognized with the 2023 Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought from the European Parliament and the 2023 Democracy Award from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
