At CPAC in DC 2025, Miklós Szánthó, Chairman of CPAC Hungary, delivered a message of friendship and optimism.
Hungary is a shining city on a hill in Europe, leading the continent in conservative policies that protect culture, religion, the family, and liberty. The country and its leaders have been close allies to CPAC in pushing back against the spread of globalism. Now, with President Trump in office, Hungary is poised to be a great ally to the United States in taking on the woke, Marxist machine that has deeply ingrained itself into federal bureaucracies and administrations around the world.
“The leftist machine assimilated democracies and policy making at all levels of government, it launched a concerted assault on the family, Christianity, and the sovereignty of nations, and the establishment has been more than happy to play along as puppets of the Globalist deep state network,” said Szánthó.
President Trump and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán are cut from the same cloth in their determination to defy the woke machine, put their countries first, and defend traditional values and Western civilization. Because of their efforts, they are subject to attacks by the left-wing media, globalist bureaucrats, and Marxist elites.
Still, Szánthó urges conservatives to continue the fight by uniting forces. “We conservatives respect the past, so we should write the future.”
He recalled a Hungarian saying, “It is in victory that one must remain most humble and have a realistic view of the world.”
Together, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and President Trump are the strong, conservative leaders Western Europe and the United States have been lacking and needing for too long.
CPAC is looking forward to joining Hungarian patriots for another year of CPAC Hungary May 29-30, 2025 and further forging special bonds with this beautiful nation.
