No More Renewables, It’s Time To Go Nuclear: The Energy Solution for Australia

Over the years, CPAC Australia conferences have drawn attention to various issues that require attention in the country, including education, censorship, and engaging younger generations. One of the predominant topics discussed at CPAC Australia in recent years is the need for nuclear energy.

“It’s clean, it’s reliable,” and it provides “a lot of jobs,” said British author and activist Zion Lights. She emphasized the efficiency of being able to use former coal mines as sites for nuclear reactors and training former coalworkers from the sites on new or similar jobs in the nuclear energy sector. “The laws of physics apply to Australia” just as they do the rest of the world. So, why not use them to Australia’s advantage for cleaner, more efficient energy?

Unlike renewable energy sources, Hon. Barnaby Joyce points out that nuclear energy can be produced 100% by Australians in Australia, adding to the growing list of positives. “Renewable energy sources are 100% imported,” said Joyce. Wind towers are not made in Australia, nor are solar panels. He highlights that “the cobalt in the solar panels most likely came from the Democratic Republic of the Congo,” which opens the door to other issues, including outsourced child and slave labor.

Joyce then emphasizes that, despite not supporting Australian industry and supporting unethical labor practices, solar panels and wind towers are considered moral while being “completely and utterly ineffective.” “We have successfully sat back as the price of power has gone through the roof, the reliability has gone through the floor, and the money has gone overseas.” The best way to regain control of the price, reliability, and money is to implement nuclear energy across the continent.

Appealing to a broader audience of climate enthusiasts, Member of Parliament Ted O’Brien rounded off his speech with the phrase “no nuclear, no net zero.” In the words of Sen. Hon. Bridget McKenzie, “Sensible engineering and science have been set aside for ideology.” She furthers her point by saying Australians need to push back on the woke idea of only using science “when it suits us.” To do that, Australia “has to go nuclear.”
