Rep. Kevin Hern represents Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District and is currently a 2026 candidate for the U.S. Senate. A self-made entrepreneur, he spent decades as a prominent McDonald's franchisee, eventually owning 18 locations, and has additional business experience in banking and manufacturing. In Congress, he has held prominent leadership roles, including Chairman of the Republican Study Committee and, most recently, Chair of the House Republican Policy Committee. His legislative career is defined by a staunch America First fiscal agenda, characterized by his work on the Ways and Means Committee to promote tax reform, advocate for balanced budgets, and implement strict work requirements for welfare programs.
