Sean Nelson, Senior Counsel for Global Religious Freedom with Alliance Defending Freedom International, will speak at the Christian Persecution Summit on October 30, 2025, at the U.S. Capitol in the Cannon Caucus Room. Based in Washington, D.C., Nelson is a leading advocate for Christians and other religious minorities facing persecution worldwide. His work with ADF International’s Allied Lawyer Network focuses on casework and advocacy in regions such as Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia, where Christian persecution is particularly severe. With a J.D. from Harvard Law School and prior experience as an associate attorney at a major litigation firm in Los Angeles, Nelson brings a wealth of legal expertise to the fight for religious freedom, engaging with the U.S. government and international institutions to promote policies that protect persecuted Christians.
