US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright joins host Ben Shapiro on The Ben Shapiro Show to discuss the future of energy development and the impact of stringent regulations imposed by the Environmental Protection Agency. Wright emphasized the consequences of the 2007 Supreme Court ruling, initiated by leftist climate activists, which allowed greenhouse gases to be classified as endangerments, thereby granting the EPA the power to regulate them.
"Those regulations permeate everything we do," Wright stated. He further described these regulations as originating from a "big brother" government agency intent on burdening the average American with endless regulations and bans on consumer goods. "They don't change any health outcomes for Americans, but they massively grow the government, they increase costs, and they grow the reach of the government.", said Wright.
