Tom Homan serves as the White House Border Czar in the Trump Administration, overseeing immigration enforcement and border security policy. In January 2017, President Trump appointed Homan as Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the largest investigative arm within the Department of Homeland Security, with over 20,000 employees, a position he held until June 2018. Prior to that, he served as Executive Associate Director of ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations since 2013, overseeing the removal of more than one million illegal aliens from the United States. Throughout his career, Homan has held positions including Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Deputy Special Agent in Charge, and Assistant Director for Enforcement at ICE Headquarters. He has received numerous awards, including the Distinguished Presidential Rank Award, Distinguished Service Medal, Law Enforcement Person of the Year Award, and the National Security Medal from President Trump. Homan has appeared at CPAC in the past advocating for comprehensive immigration reform and enforcement that protects America’s communities.
