"Trust Fund Baby" Mamdani's First Job Could be the Mayor of New York City: The Ben Shapiro Show

The Democratic Party is in shambles after the historic landslide victory of President Donald Trump and conservatives across the country this past election cycle, with many within the Democratic base turning from conventional establishment figures that no longer resonate with voters. Shapiro highlights how this environment is perfect for an opportunistic figure like Mamdani, who convincingly beat establishment choice Former NYC Mayor Andrew Cuomo in the past Democratic primary. 

Shapiro points out that Mamdani constantly plays the victim on social media and tries to play as a down-to-earth person despite being a “trust fund baby” whose father is a Columbia University Professor and mother is a Hollywood director. “It’s hard to think of a less victimized person in American politics than Zohran Mamdani.”, said Shapiro. Mamdani’s first real job could be the mayor of New York City, demonstrating his inauthentic rise to stardom and privileged, inexperienced background.
