Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin delivered a rousing call to action at the CPAC Latino Summit in Sterling, Virginia on Saturday. The Governor urged the Latino community to mobilize and rally behind Virginia's Lt. Governor and 2025 Gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears.
Speaking to a packed crowd at Ministerio Internacional Maná del Cielo, Youngkin reminded attendees of Virginia's historic 2021 victory that "made a statement that was heard around the world" and emphasized that Republicans "better represent those values" shared within the Latino community. With just days remaining before the election, the Governor made clear that grassroots energy and turnout would determine whether Virginia continues its conservative resurgence or falls back into Democratic control.
Youngkin's message centered on the stark choice Virginia faces between Republican leadership that defends parental rights and Democratic policies that would undermine families. The Democrats in Virginia have maintained that they value radical left cultural and gender ideology indoctrination over allowing parents to decide what their own children are exposed to in the classroom.
Youngkin condemned Democratic leaders' refusal to disavow controversial statements from Democratic Attorney General candidate Jay Jones, calling for an escalation of political violence and the killing of children. The Governor also criticized Democrats' redistricting maneuvers as a desperate power grab, highlighting how just this week Sears' opponent received $150,000 from the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC), then flip-flopping on her position to not redistrict. Governor Youngkin stressed that the future of Virginia pivots in this critical upcoming election, with many key issues that affect voters and parents on the ballot.
This historic summit brought together Virginia's entire Republican statewide ticket—including Gubernatorial candidate Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears, Attorney General incumbent Jason Miyares, and Lt. Governor candidate John Reid—demonstrating unified conservative leadership. Youngkin's message was clear: victory requires every conservative voter to engage, volunteer, and turn out their communities. The path to stopping far-left Democrats runs through grassroots activism, and Virginia's Latino community will play a crucial role in determining whether the Commonwealth remains a beacon of freedom and parental rights.
