This past weekend, CPAC Latino held its inaugural conference, a landmark event that united conservative Latino voices. Partnering with Latino Wall Street, CPAC created a platform to amplify Hispanic leaders who champion conservative principles. The event marked a significant step toward empowering Latino communities through economic independence, cultural preservation, and political empowerment.
Tony Delgado, founder of Latino Wall Street, emphasized the importance of the partnership with CPAC, stating, “Latino Wall Street is honored to join forces with CPAC to empower our community with the tools, capital, and conviction to lead both economically and politically.”
CPAC Latino brought together Hispanic leaders at the forefront of the conservative movement. The event focused on fostering discussions around free markets, cultural preservation, and the preservation of faith, family, and freedom, core tenets of the conservative movement. Attendees heard from high-level political dignitaries, business icons, and trailblazing Hispanic entrepreneurs who are actively shaping a prosperous future for their communities.
Matt Schlapp, Chairman of CPAC, highlighted the event’s mission to integrate conservative ideals into the heart of the Hispanic community. “The conservative movement has always stood for freedom, opportunity, and self-reliance. With CPAC Latino, we are building bridges that will carry those principles to the heart of the Hispanic community,” Schlapp said. He also noted the unique perspective of many Latino voters, particularly those who fled communist regimes that destroyed their home countries. Schlapp pointed out that these voters are deeply opposed to the Democratic Party’s embrace of policies they perceive as echoing communism, making conservative values particularly resonant.
The event also highlighted the growing influence of Latino voters in advancing conservative candidates at the ballot box. According to a recent Pew Research Center analysis, President Donald Trump secured 48% of the Latino vote in the 2024 election, a significant increase from the 36% he garnered in 2020. This 22-point swing toward Trump, compared to Vice President Kamala Harris’s 51% in 2024, underscores the increasing alignment of Latino voters with conservative candidates and policies. This shift reflects a broader trend of Latinos embracing conservative values, particularly as they resonate with messages of economic opportunity, individual liberty, and skepticism of big government control.
CPAC Latino's inaugural conference signals the beginning of a new era for conservative Latino leadership. By partnering with Latino Wall Street, CPAC is fostering a movement that empowers Hispanic communities to take charge of their economic and political futures. The organization remains committed to advancing conservative causes alongside its Latino CPAC allies.
