CPAC UNITES WITH BRAZILIAN MEMBERS OF CONGRESS TO DENOUNCE THE PERSECUTION AND CENSORSHIP AGAINST PRESIDENT LULA DA SILVA’S POLITICAL OPPONENTS

CPAC met with a large delegation of Brazilian members of Congress, journalists, and activists who addressed the severe political persecution and censorship that they have been facing under the Lula authoritarian regime.
Brazilian President Lula da Silva and his tyrannical administration, led by Supreme Court Justice Alexandra de Moraes, are working to suffocate their political opposition by censoring free speech, stripping freedom of the press, and even imprisoning conservatives - potentially soon to include former President Jair Bolsonaro. These Gestapo-like tactics have long gone silent in the mainstream media with little to no coverage of the truth.
In the United States, the Biden cabal, including Attorney General Merrick Garland, White House Counsel Ed Siskel and Special Counsel Jack Smith, is using similar lawfare tactics against those they disagree with politically. He has weaponized the court system to bankrupt and jail his political opponent President Donald J. Trump because he has once again decided to fight back by running for a second term.
“CPAC calls on the Lula administration to immediately release those jailed for political prosecution.” CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp stated, “We also call on the Biden administration to place sanctions on the Brazilian government for their blatant violations of human rights on their own people.
CPAC will not stand idly by. We have planted our flag in Brazil, hosting CPAC conferences and spreading the message of freedom, conservative values, and basic human rights for all people. We will fight back as conservatives in both countries are silenced and prosecuted for speaking out.
