CPAC Releases 2024 Florida Scorecard
The eleventh edition of the Florida CPAC Scorecard assesses 17 votes in the Florida State House and 16 votes in the Florida State Senate from the 2024 Regular Session. The Florida State Senate Republicans averaged 91% and the Florida Senate Democrats averaged 18% for an overall State Senate average of 71%. Meanwhile Florida House Republicans averaged 93% and the Florida House Democrats averaged 13% for an overall average of 72%. These scores are well above the average score for Republicans and secures Florida's place as a conservative stronghold in 2024.
The biggest issues in the 2024 session were securing the border, fighting radical woke ideology, and protecting parents right. Florida Republicans passed bills to crack down on DEI in education and protect Floridians from the invasion at the border.
