  • Mateusz Morawiecki - CPAC in DC 2025

At CPAC in DC 2025, the increasing global reach of the conservative movement made itself more evident than ever. Representatives from several nations, including Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Israel, Hungary, and Poland spoke at the conference, truly showing the movement’s global success. On February 20, 2025, Sejm member and former Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki spoke on the CPAC stage about the need for European unity with the United States. He spoke about common problems that Europe and the United States faced, such as mass migration, corruption, and an attack on free speech. “I stand here in front of you as a representative of Europe, a continent that once shaped the world,” Morawiecki began his speech. He spoke of great minds from the continent, including Columbus, Copernicus, Da Vinci, and Tesla, and said that Europe “was a really great continent, and I want this continent to be great.” Morawiecki’s speech comes before the first-ever CPAC in Poland, scheduled to take place in Podkarpacie from May 26-27. The event will be held in conjunction with TV Republika, a Polish news channel committed to independent journalism. Watch the full discussion on Rumble @ CPAC. • Economic Freedom and Government Overreach: Leo Zacky

America Matters  Host Leo Zacky, found on the Salem and Answer Network, Vice President of Zacky Farms, his family's poultry company, and a board member of the California Poultry Federation, spoke at CPAC 2025 in Washington, DC. Zacky highlights how California went from a conservative stronghold to being run by a “political cartel” that seeks to destroy the middle class and small businesses to the benefit of a corrupt political system. Zacky outlined his family's more than 90-year-old business being forced to relocate outside of California, not because of the government’s “mismanagement” or “incompetence”, as he puts it, but because of a deliberate strategy by a “political cartel” to destroy the middle class and small businesses. California, where President Ronald Reagan was governor and once a conservative stronghold, has been co-opted by a “political cartel”. A corrupt political system that only benefits this “political cartel” and their cronies at the detriment of the middle class and small businesses.  Zacky also highlights how California used to be a “red state” and has the highest population of conservatives out of any other state, more than Texas or Florida, posing the question: “So how do the radicals stay in power?” “They built a one-party dictatorship, and they call it a super majority, and they did this by running democrats and calling them republicans. These RINOs stole the vote from the people by making IDs for voting illegal, by inflating the census, gerrymandering, ballot harvesting, and by removing all of the government oversight that was put in place to ensure election integrity ”, Zacky answers.  Organized voter fraud, argues Zacky, led to a Democratic majority in a once conservative stronghold. “I’m no detective, but even a dummy can smell voter fraud when the state with the most conservatives somehow magically votes blue every year.”, Zacky asserts.  The recent reelection of President Donald J Trump, according to Zacky, gives conservatives a few more years to ensure “California can turn red again”. California has the worst anti-American legislation and policies, Zacky warns, and that this can and will happen in other states too if conservative values are not defended. The Trump Administration and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are monitoring and fighting the corruption in Washington, ensuring full government transparency. The “criminal” mismanagement of California, for example, led to the deadly wildfires and “has woken up a lot of ‘lefties’…losing everything tends to change your mindset”, says Zacky.  Zacky calls the audience to action “because the time to strike is now”, highlighting the need for grassroots political action across the nation, not just California, because there is an ever-present need for individuals who reflect “America First” conservative values. We are committed to seeing an end to this totalitarian dictatorship. CPAC for Iranians in Exile will give the diverse Iranian diaspora, including activists, entrepreneurs, researchers, scholars, policy experts, technocrats, musicians, artists, and students, the chance to gather and engage in discussion with each other, with policy leaders, and administration figures. The inaugural event will be held later this year with the participation of U.S. administration officials and policymakers. The website for CPAC for Iranians gives those interested in participating the opportunity to learn more about the event and express their interest. Visit CPAC.org/Iranians to learn more.

  • CPAC Center for Combating Human Trafficking Marks National Police Week with Leaders in the Fight to End Human Trafficking

During National Police Week 2025, CPAC’s Center for Combating Human Trafficking held a pivotal event in Washington, D.C., uniting Trump administration officials, survivor leaders, law enforcement, and representatives from the Virginia and Kentucky Attorneys General offices to address modern-day slavery. This gathering underscored a collaborative approach that is necessary to dismantling human trafficking networks and supporting survivors.    The event featured firsthand accounts from survivors, providing critical insights into the complexities of trafficking and emphasizing the necessity of survivor-informed policies.  Officials from President Trump’s Health and Human Services Department discussed initiatives aimed at victim support and rehabilitation, and law enforcement representatives shared strategies and challenges in identifying and prosecuting traffickers.    A significant highlight was the discussion on the Trafficking Survivors Relief Act (TSRA), legislation supported by CPAC and introduced in Congress in October 2024. The TSRA offers a legal framework to vacate convictions for crimes committed by individuals under coercion from traffickers, marking a shift towards recognizing and rectifying injustices faced by survivors.      This event exemplified a unified front against human trafficking, combining legislative action, survivor advocacy, and law enforcement collaboration. By fostering dialogue among diverse stakeholders, CPAC's Center for Combating Human Trafficking continues to play a crucial role in the national effort to eradicate modern-day slavery and support those affected.

  • Freight Industries Rally Around CPAC: Industry Stakeholders Back CRF’s Call for Regulatory Reform

On May 5, CPAC Foundation’s Center for Regulatory Freedom (CRF) submitted comments urging the U.S. Department of Transportation to rescind more than 10 regulations harming the transportation sector, highlighting one particularly problematic rule for trucking and freight stakeholders. This rule imposes a restrictive waiver process for regulatory relief, which CRF challenged with strong support from the freight industry—demonstrating CRF’s leadership in advocating against excessive federal regulation. CRF’s comments highlighted that FMCSA’s exemption and waiver process is overly restrictive and complex, especially for small trucking companies. FreightWaves, a leading transportation and logistics news source, agrees with and supports CRF’s criticisms of FMCSA’s excessive justification requirements, costly application procedures, and lengthy public comment periods that delay much-needed regulatory relief (see their article expressing their support). This shared industry support underscores the urgent need to reform the exemption process to better address competitive challenges. Proposed Solutions Provide Separate Exemption Application Category A separate exemption category for non-safety-critical rules would streamline and expedite relief from administrative burdens, allowing carriers to more easily obtain exemptions for minor regulatory requirements that do not affect safety. Expedite Process for Non-Safety-Critical Exemptions Expanding this separate category to include an expedited process for non-safety-critical exemptions—without requiring safety analyses or technical reports—would streamline approvals and reduce unnecessary burdens for carriers seeking administrative relief. Remove the “Equivalent Safety Standard” Currently, carriers must prove an exemption will improve safety, forcing many small businesses to hire costly outside help; removing this requirement would make the process more accessible and affordable by allowing applicants to focus on the practical need for relief. CRF’s active engagement in the regulatory process has positioned it as a leading advocate for transportation stakeholders, driving meaningful change by urging the U.S. Department of Transportation to rescind more than 10 burdensome regulations—including those that disproportionately impact small trucking companies. By proposing targeted reforms and rallying broad industry support, CRF continues to play a pivotal role in shaping policies that reduce unnecessary regulatory barriers and promote a fairer, more competitive environment for the freight sector.

  • Why Deliberative Science Must Drive Public Policy: Common Sense in Health Regulation

All too often these days, politics often trumps principle, and soundbites drown out substance; it is easy to forget the purpose of public policy: to protect and promote the well-being of the American people. But that purpose is undermined when science becomes politicized, and regulations are built not on evidence but on ideology. The recent actions and debates at the FDA and within the broader health policy community serve as a case study in what can go right when science is applied properly—and what can go wrong when it is ignored or manipulated. Take the FDA’s recent convening of a scientific panel to examine the presence of talc in food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. This is what deliberative science should look like in action. The agency brought together oncologists, toxicologists, pathologists, and industry experts to assess both the risks and the scientific uncertainties surrounding talc. The panel was transparent, fact-driven, and open to diverse viewpoints. It acknowledged the complexity of the science, recognized the existing evidence of potential harm, and took seriously the idea of phase-outs and alternatives. That's not just good science. It's good governance. Compare that to the increasingly hysterical push from certain corners of the public health world to demonize alcohol and even non-alcoholic beverages , not to mention meat, sugar, and other so-called "ultra-processed" foods. These campaigns are not grounded in balanced risk assessment. They're driven by moral panic, social engineering, and a desire to control behavior rather than inform choices. When dietary guidelines become Trojan horses for climate activism or ideological purity tests, trust in our public health institutions erodes. As I said at CPAC 2025, it's one thing for the government to offer guidance. It's another thing entirely when those guidelines become mandates that reshape industries, restrict consumer choice, and override common sense. The dietary guidelines review process, as currently structured, is opaque, biased, and all too often captured by special interests—including those seeking to push lab-grown meat, plant-based diets, or ESG-scored nutrition. The FDA's talc panel was a rare instance of humility and openness in health regulation. Experts admitted what they didn't know, debated what they thought they did, and looked at both mechanistic and epidemiological evidence. They acknowledged the growing concern over chronic inflammation, cancer risk, and the plausible biological mechanisms by which talc might cause harm. They also recognized the practical reality: talc is still present in common foods and medicines, often with no clear benefit. It deserves greater examination. And more importantly, it deserves decisions that weigh risks proportionally and transparently. This kind of scientific deliberation stands in stark contrast to the Biden administration's revision of OMB Circular A-4. The updated guidance undercuts the core of sound regulatory review by abandoning objective cost-benefit analysis in favor of vague, politicized criteria like "equity" and "global impact." It downgrades the role of comparative risk assessment—the single most important tool we have to measure whether one risk is greater than another. When government agencies start prioritizing speculative benefits over measurable costs, bad decisions follow. And the public, especially small businesses and working families, foot the bill. That’s why the CPAC Foundation’s Center for Regulatory Freedom filed a formal petition urging the OMB to reopen the rulemaking process for Circular A-4. The principles of American regulatory policy must remain rooted in transparency, accountability, and economic realism. We cannot allow ESG metrics and ideological crusades to replace data-driven decision-making. Let me be clear: Americans are not lab rats. We are free people. And free people deserve health policies that inform, not impose. The government should not be deciding what you can drink with your dinner or whether your kids can eat a piece of candy coated with powdered sugar (or talc). If something poses a real, demonstrable risk, let’s talk about it. Let’s study it. Let’s deliberate openly. But let’s not weaponize flawed science to enforce conformity. It’s worth remembering that we’ve been down this road before. The 1990s war on fat gave way to a carb craze that fueled obesity. The attacks on cholesterol led to a pharmaceutical gold rush, while nutrition labels changed with every passing trend. Today, that same top-down, whiplash approach threatens to repeat itself under the guise of "equity" or climate-friendly eating. It's not science. It's social policy masquerading as science. We saw during COVID what happens when public health loses credibility. Once-trusted institutions like the CDC and FDA found themselves struggling to recover from the fallout of politicized mandates, contradictory messaging, and noble lies. If we want to rebuild trust, we must start with honesty. And honesty means admitting when the science is uncertain, when risks are small, and when tradeoffs are real. The FDA's process on talc reflects what the American people want: a fair shake. Let scientists argue the evidence. Let regulators explain their reasoning. Let the public see behind the curtain. And above all, let free people decide how to live their lives, based on facts, not fear. Science should never be a cudgel to force behavior. It should be a compass to guide it. When science is used honestly, it illuminates. When it’s used ideologically, it obscures. In the fight for freedom in health regulation, we must choose clarity over confusion, deliberation over dictates, and risk literacy over risk aversion. If we want public policy to serve the public, it must be driven not by agendas but by reason and common sense. Let deliberative science lead the way.

  • America UnCanceled: Mercedes Schlapp & Jack Posobiec

Mercedes Schlapp, host of America UnCanceled , and Jack Posobiec, Senior Editor of Human Events  and conservative influencer, have a conversation for a special international edition of the show. They discuss that there are many international events Posobiec has joined CPAC around the world, including Italy, Japan, Mexico, Hungary, and many others. The broad range of CPAC international shows that the conservative movement has global appeal. “This is a global movement towards the family towards conservative values…these issues we face in the United States are not separate issues from everything that's going on around the world.”, observes Posobiec. On this episode of America UnCanceled , Mercedes Schlapp and Jack Posobiec discuss the growing threat of globalism and secularism that threatens traditional conservative values not just in America but around the world.  Posobiec observes that the COVID times were a “last stand for the atheists”. Mercedes says that even within the Church, many leaders shut down Churches when the time was such a difficult time and people needed access to God more than ever. Many people were turning to alcoholism and depression because of the isolation during COVID. But now in there is such a resurgence of faith, says Mercedes.  “We are facing the threat of globalism, and I’m just gonna say it, we’re facing the threat of a secular atheist movement, this idea that we are going to replace our traditional religion with wokeism and this God-less atheist secularism and moral relativism.”, says Posobiec. The conversation turns to CPAC’s involvement in European elections and how the disease of wokeism and authoritarianism has spread around the world and is a global problem. Mercedes brings attention to, “... these organizations that hone in on child mutilation, that hone in on taking God out of everything, and taking away freedoms, and government asserting themselves, taking away people's freedoms.”  Mercedes goes on to say that CPAC is supporting conservatives around the world who support traditional values and seek to partner with President Trump’s agenda, “who are inspired by his boldness and bravery.”  Posobiec comments on the conservative elections in Romania and a Trump ally, George Simion, who is now questioning the Romanian elections. He says that it's “statistically impossible” for Simion to have lost the election, as all the polls in Romania had him winning convincingly, “not even just the right wing polls, he was up across all the polls.”  Simion was winning by twenty points, but Posobiec says his leftist opponent in the election was seemingly impossibly able to win. The will of the people is being sidelined, as this is the second election in Romania this year. The conservative candidate, Calin Georgescu, running earlier this year, was attacked by leftists using lawfare, causing him to be unable to run in elections again. This is exactly what the authoritarian leftists tried to do to President Trump in 2020, according to Posobiec.  Posobiec also brings up how Poland was the first, before the conservative revolution of Brexit with Nigel Farage and Trump, to have major populist conservative victories. Karol Nawrocki, who is the conservative running for office in Poland, supports reforming their stance on dealing with the war in Ukraine, addressing issues over Poland’s inflation, and other economic struggles because of the war. Nawrocki is “someone who absolutely upholds Poland’s historic values, the values of culture, the values of faith, the values of standing up for your language and your people.”, says Posobiec.  The conversation then turns to President Trump supporting Pope Leo XIV’s call for peace talks between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine to be held at the Vatican. “There’s tremendous bitterness and angerness, so having it at the Vatican, in Rome, would be a very great idea.”, says President Trump. Posobiec says that the talks being held at the Vatican would be very symbolic, calling to the Marian apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima and Pope Francis consecrating Russia to the Virgin Mary.  The talks would also be symbolic, having two predominantly Orthodox nations meeting in the Western Catholic Church just after the Metropolitan Bishop of Constantinople visited the new Pope Leo XIV for his inaugural mass. “There could be a larger conversation had for ending schisms, bringing peace together between Ukraine and Russia, perhaps this could be a chance to also mend the schism between the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Western Church…Pope St. John Paul II said, ‘The Church needs to breathe with its two lungs.’” Mercedes highlights how the left seeks to destroy traditional conservative values by attacking the family and censoring conservatives who want to speak out about what is happening to the country in regards to mass immigration. “To have a bigger government, what you would do is divide the people. Mass immigration is meant to divide the people”, says Posobiec.

  • CPAC Ratings Ceremony Honors High-Scoring Congress Members in 2024 Congressional Ratings

On Tuesday, conservative leaders in the US House of Representatives and the US Senate received awards for their commitment to conservative principles during the 2024 legislative session. The 2024 legislative session was defined by battles over America's energy potential, defending states’ rights, and cutting funding to unnecessary federal programs.  Matt Schlapp, chairman of CPAC, stressed the importance of the rewards ceremony for the future of conservatism in America: “This ceremony isn’t just a celebration–it’s a line in the sand.” US Speaker of the House Mike Johnson came for his Conservative Achievement Award, commenting, “We appreciate CPAC, the organization has stood for us for so many years. These awards handed out are something that is highly coveted on Capitol Hill, and I’ve got a nice collection of them now, and I’m proud to display them.”  The Center for Legislative Analysis (CLA), an initiative of the CPAC Foundation, evaluated how Members of the US House and US Senate voted during the 2024 legislative session. The 2024 session was a contentious legislative year with many crucial votes, notably the question on America’s role in funding foreign wars, protecting life in the womb and women, and securing the border.  The ratings event encourages members in their commitment to upholding conservative values and to motivate Democrats and more moderate Republicans to greater accountability. The average Republican score in the Senate was 73% while Democrats averaged just 6%, with many scoring below the average. The average US House Republican score was 78%, with 64 members scoring 90% or above, while House Democrats averaged a dismal 2%.  Such a divide marks the ideological divide between America first conservatives and America last Democrats. The ratings event came hours after President Trump made a trip to the Hill meeting with lawmakers to encourage the passing of The Big Beautiful Bill. Many members stopped into the ratings ceremony for their award before voting on the bill later that night.  CPAC is excited and optimistic for the 2025 legislative year with the reelection of President Donald Trump and conservatives taking the lead in Congress. The event rewarded members for their past accomplishments while also encouraging them to vote according to conservative values in the future. US Representative from Ohio and Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Jim Jordan, came to receive his Conservative Excellence award for a 96% rating. When asked what the Trump Administration’s biggest accomplishment is so far, Rep. Jordan commented:  “Securing the border. That is the key issue he [President Trump] ran on. We all know what Joe Biden did when he made three decisions on day one: no more building the wall, no more remain in Mexico, no more detention, and being released after being apprehended.” CPAC urges members to continue the fight for our freedoms and to build on the efforts made last year. There is still much to be done. See the full scorecard of the 2024 legislative session at CPAC.org .

  • CPAC 2024 Congressional Ratings: House Republicans Dominated in Addressing Americans’ Top Issues in 2024

With a Democrat-controlled Senate, a narrow majority in the House of Representatives, and a Democrat-controlled executive branch, the 2024 legislative session was tough for conservative lawmakers.  Still, the 2024 CPAC Congressional Ratings showed that House Republicans persevered and dominated in efforts to advance the interests of the American people despite constant obstacles from radical Leftists in their own chamber and Democrats in the Senate. The Senate largely advanced woke issues like abortion and illegal immigration while blocking common sense measures on supporting Israel and reducing federal waste.  The Senate In the Senate, the main issues for the 2024 legislative session included: the wide-open southern border, continuing foreign aid to Ukraine, and battling over fiscal responsibility. These key issues served as a litmus test for Senators, as some Republican Senators sided with Democrats prioritizing foreign commitments and costly domestic programs that put America last. Funding Foreign Wars The 2024 legislative session saw a major divide in how foreign aid should be administered. HR 815 provided $95 billion in military assistance to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. Senators were divided over the controversial effort to continue funding Ukraine. Protecting Life Conservatives, during the 2024 legislative session, also faced great opposition in defending the sanctity of life. The US Senate advanced radical legislation like S. 4554, the Reproductive Freedom for Women Act, which sought to codify all abortions for any reason at any point in pregnancy, overriding all state protections for the unborn. The Right to IVF Act was another attack on conservative values, using emotionally charged language and vague legal language to undermine existing pro-life laws. Securing the Border Border security was a top priority in the 2024 legislative session, however, Democrats repeatedly blocked meaningful reforms despite the growing crisis at the border and voter outrage. Republicans sought to reinforce border management for border wall expansion, increasing detention center capacity, and increasing ICE enforcement. Despite the Democrats wanting to facilitate the dangerous border invasion, HR 2882 passed, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024, which included $1.57 billion in appropriations for border security. The House of Representatives Meanwhile, the House’s 2024 legislative session was defined by battles over America's energy potential, defending states’ rights, and cutting funding to unnecessary federal programs. Conservatives proposed key reforms to these issues, which proved to be priorities for Americans in the 2024 election, though the proposed reforms were often blocked or weakened due to opposition from the radical left and weak moderates. Cutting Funding to Unnecessary Programs Conservatives in the House during the 2024 legislative session sought to reduce funding to wasteful and ideologically motivated government programs. Conservatives, such as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (96% CPAC Rating), supported Roll Call 308, an amendment on HR 8771, which would have eliminated all funding for USAID. Rep. Josh Brecheen (98% CPAC Rating) offered two critical cuts in HR 8998. Roll Call 386 reduced the National Endowment for the Humanities’ budget to FY2019 levels, saving $52 million, and Roll Call 387, an amendment of the same bill, zeroed out $12 million for the Woodrow Wilson Center, another globalist organization.  Cutting the Bureaucratic Red Tape House conservatives worked to dismantle federal overreach and protect states’ rights by targeting costly, unnecessary regulations. In Roll Call 438, Rep. John James (61% CPAC Ratings) led a resolution to overturn the EPA’s emissions rule for trucks. In Roll Call 489, Rep. Brad Finstad (86% CPAC Rating) introduced the Prove It Act, requiring federal agencies to prove new regulations wouldn’t burden small businesses. Rep. Andrew Ogles (97%CPAC Rating) pushed the Liberty in Laundry Act (Roll Call 497) to block the Department of Energy from enforcing appliance standards that drive up washer prices without real benefits. Living Up to America’s Energy Potential House conservatives made significant progress in 2024 toward restoring American energy independence, rolling back harmful regulations, and unlocking domestic energy production. House Republicans sought to reduce bureaucratic red tape and bring down energy prices. Rep. Jeff Duncan (97% CPAC Rating) led the charge with the Protecting American Energy Production Act, which prohibited President Biden from issuing a fracking moratorium and restored states’ rights to regulate their energy development. Rep. Pete Stauber (71% CPAC Rating) advanced the Alaska’s Right to Produce Act, which opened up a small portion (10%) of the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge for oil and gas leasing and limited the Bureau of Land Management’s ability to block resource development by fiat. While Senate Democrats focused on woke, ideological legislation, House Republicans offered solutions to the real problems average Americans were facing on a daily basis. The 2024 election, with the victory of President Donald Trump and Republicans securing majorities in both chambers of Congress, proved that Republicans were focused on the right issues in 2024. Now, with majorities in Congress and President Trump in the Oval Office, Republicans in Congress need to seize the opportunity to respond to the American people’s mandate to reduce waste of taxpayer dollars, secure the border, boost the economy, make America energy independent again, and cut down on federal bureaucracy.  Explore all of CPAC’s findings from last year’s legislative session in the 2024 Congression Scorecard on CPAC.org .

  • The Right Squad, Mercedes Schlapp: The Supreme Court heard arguments on President Trump's executive order on birthright citizenship

Mercedes Schlapp on The Right Squad reports that the United States Supreme Court heard arguments on President Donald Trump’s executive order on birthright citizenship. There are also radical leftist judges attempting to stall President Trump from furthering his agenda.  The President commented on the case last Thursday:  “Birthright Citizenship was not meant for people taking vacations to become permanent Cirtizens of the United States of America, and bringing their families with them, all the time laughing at the ‘SUCKERS’ that we are! The United States of America is the only Country in the World that does this, for what reason, nobody knows–But the drug cartels love it! ... It [The Fourteenth Amendment] had nothing to do with Illegal Immigration for people wanting to SCAM our Country, from all parts of the World, which they have done for many years. It had to do with the Civil War results, and the babies of slaves who our politicians felt, correctly, needed protection.” The beginning arguments were not even about the President’s Executive Order on ending Birthright Citizenship, but about whether the universal injunctions by leftist judges were legitimate.  The United States Solicitor General John Sauer, who is representing the Trump Administration, listed the various problems the universal injunctions made by the leftist judges.  “Such injunctions prevent the percolation of novel and difficult legal questions. “They encourage rampant forum shopping. They require judges to make rushed low low-information decisions. They circumvent Rule 23 by offering all the benefits but none of the burdens of class certification. They operate asymmetrically, forcing the government to defend everywhere while the plaintiffs can win anywhere. They invert the ordinary hierarchy of a palate review. They increase the risk of conflicting judgments.”, says Solicitor General Sauer.

  • The Right Squad, Matt Schlapp: Strengthen Ties with Moderate Arab States

CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp recently on The Right Squad  commented on how the United States needs to strengthen alliances with moderate Arab states, “to stop the more radical ones like Iran.”  Schlapp highlights how, despite many of the moderate Arab nations not having ideals perfectly aligned with America and democracy, President Donald Trump is willing to negotiate and make deals. The willingness to negotiate is different from “neoconservatives,” who are not willing to negotiate because of ideological differences.  Schlapp describes how Trump is a “foreign policy realist…unlike the neocons who think morality is a part of all these decisions.” Neoconservatives have been known to immediately disregard any negotiation with Arab nations that do not perfectly align with their worldview, while Trump is willing to make deals with otherwise ostracized nations.  The neocons and free market idealists are always critical of President Trump's tariffs, but they are always proponents for sanctions. While President Trump is a realist in that he is able to make deals with anyone willing.

  • The Right Squad, Mercedes Schlapp: Illegal Aliens Destroy Documentation before Crossing Border

Mercedes Schlapp was recently on The Right Squad  explaining how illegal aliens will “rip up” their passports or any other documentation before crossing the US border. Aliens without the proper documentation cannot be vetted on top of entering the country illegally.  “This creates a really big problem for our ICE agents”, says Mercedes.  She goes on to criticize protesters who say that enforcing the border and requiring the proper identification to be vetted is racist:  “Those lines have not worked, it has failed the Democratic party, and if they continue down this pathway, I don't see how they can keep winning national elections. Because the American people have had it, they don’t want to be called names, they just want safe communities.” Americans, she says, want the violent, human traffickers, and rapists out of the country, “they dont deserve to be here in America.”
