Battle Belongs with Coleton Furlow: The Christian Left with Pastor Lucas Miles

Pastor Lucas Miles, host of Church and State with Lucas Miles and author of "The Christian Left", discusses the Left’s hijacking of Christianity on Battle Belongs with Coleton Furlow.

Miles’ book "The Christian Left" examines the Left’s perversion of the Gospel to fit their Marxist agenda.

“The clash between Left and Right is a clash of religion,” explained Miles. “Conservatism has an ideological relationship with biblical values. It really only works in the confines of true biblical values. On the Left, it’s also a religious system. It’s really a Marxist cult, is what it is.”

The Left first and foremost perverts the Gospel with its reduction of Christ to merely a historical figure. They reject his divinity and reduce him to man who was either just a teacher or a social justice warrior or even a scam artist in order to reduce his message. In doing so, they remove objective truth from Jesus' preaching and replace it with socialist ideology. In short, the Left hijacks and perverts Christianity to lead Christians astray and to justify their own twisted positions.

Miles delves more into the results of the Left's perversion of Christ, including liberation theology, in his new book "Woke Jesus".
