Robert Nicholson, Co-Founder of Save Armenia and Founder of The Philos Project, will speak at CPAC’s Christian Persecution Summit on October 30, 2025, from 10:15 AM to 10:35 AM at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Terrace Theatre. A Marine Corps veteran and leading advocate for faith and foreign policy, Nicholson brings a principled, on-the-ground perspective to the growing global assault on Christian communities.
As Co-Founder of Save Armenia, Nicholson has been at the forefront of international efforts to defend Armenia’s sovereignty and Christian heritage amid escalating threats from neighboring regimes. In September 2023, he sounded the alarm over the forced displacement of more than 120,000 Armenian Christians from Artsakh by Azerbaijani forces, describing it as a coordinated attempt to erase a people and their faith. Through Save Armenia, Nicholson has convened diplomats, lawmakers, and faith leaders in Washington, D.C., to demand accountability and mobilize support for Armenia’s survival.
Nicholson also serves as Founder and President of The Philos Project and Editor-at-Large of Providence: A Journal of Christianity & American Foreign Policy, where he advances dialogue on religion, ethics, and national security. A former U.S. Marine and Tikvah Fellow, he holds a J.D. and an M.A. in Middle Eastern History, grounding his advocacy in both moral conviction and geopolitical expertise.
At the Summit, Nicholson will examine how authoritarian regimes and extremist movements are accelerating the persecution of Christians, and what global action is needed to defend faith, freedom, and human dignity.
