The L.A. wildfires are making headlines for their devastation and for their exposing the dangerous consequences of DEI initiatives over merit and practical measures. Matt and Mercedes Schlapp reacted to clips of California officials, including Gavin Newsom, dismissing the crisis.

“It just seems like this was the most incompetent preparation for what they know is coming their way,” said Matt Schlapp. ”They justify it because they want to spend the money for other things and climate change. So, no matter what happens, they just blame climate change.”

The California legislature only reinforced this point by meeting this week to discuss ‘Trump-proofing’ state while L.A. burns to the ground with empty fire hydrants and a woke fire department.

“This is the failure of Democratic leadership in these big cities,” added Mercedes Schlapp.

The Schlapps went to discuss Obama and Trump’s exchanges at Jimmy Carter’s funeral, Meta eliminating factcheckers, Notre Dame’s Riley Leonard, and more. Watch their full conversation on social media @CPAC.
